Encounter and Mission Nights
Sacred Heart is committed to the church’s vision of discipleship. Our method for this process is called the Parish Life Cycle. Our goal is to provide the parish with opportunities to engage and enrich our faith lives. Encounter Nights are another opportunity to connect with Jesus and each other through prayer and worship and community.
Our family has to pick and choose what to attend and where to devote our time due to our busy schedules. [This Encounter Night reminded me that God] is relentlessly pursuing me and trying to have an encounter with me. I could feel the warmth of the Holy Spirit surrounding me. This was simply a beautiful night with a captivating witness and testimony. To say that we are looking forward to the next Encounter Night may be an understatement. I would encourage anyone that is thinking about it to come since it is God who places that desire on our hearts.
