Child Baptism (age 7-16)
By the age of seven, a child is presumed to have attained the use of reason (can. 97.2). Because of this, the child is considered to be responsible for one’s own decisions toward salvation. Children who are 7 years of age and older are invited to participate in our Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) throughout the year to prepare for baptism at the Easter Vigil.
