More about our Fatih Formation Programs
What is Life Teen?
As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.
Life Teen High School Ministry is open to all public and private high school students in grades 9th through 12th. Life Teen meets Sundays starting with 5:00pm Mass and Life Night to follow until 8:00pm in the PLC. Life Teen assists teens in taking ownership of their faith, preparing them for a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
What is Edge (7th-8th Grade Faith Formation)?
Edge is a Middle School Catechetical Formation Program designed to meet the psychological, social, catechetical and emotional needs of middle school students. Our goal at Sacred Heart is to allow our middle schoolers to begin the steps to start the journey of taking ownership of their faith and to build a strong community around them.
Edge Middle School Ministry is open to all public and private school 7th and 8th grade students. Edge meets Monday evenings in the PLC from 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Edge creates a foundation of faith with a large and small group community to support the middle school students on their journey of evangelization of faith and establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
What is Faith Formation Grades 1st-6th
Sacred Heart is blessed to be home to many growing families. We are bubbling with children of all ages. Our Faith Formation program seeks to help each family build a rock-solid faith foundation for every child. Our youngest disciples are looking to us, the adults in their life, to form the spiritual foundation that they’ll build upon. Jesus taught that a house built on sand would crumble in the storm, a house built on rock will stand firm and strong. It is the goal of our program to form that foundation through Mass and weekly religion class.
